The painting work was done properly. It's a shame that the final price, despite a prior inspection and repeated inquiries during the work, ended up being 15-20% more expensive than the estimate. We didn't check the exact attendance at the construction site, but signed the timesheet at the end because the work was satisfactory. Perhaps naive, but so far we've always been able to trust the worker's word. We're disappointed that even at the time of joint inspection, the original amount was still being discussed, but in the end, everything became more expensive and reference was made to the hours we had signed off on. Legally, everything was fine, but from a human perspective, it's a bit of a shame, because the impression was otherwise good. Agreeing on a fixed price upfront would probably be advisable here if you don't like surprises.
