They really made an effort to find the right device for me, not just sell me something. A friendly conversation was also included. If you're looking for a pleasant conversation, you should definitely head to one of the cafés in the old town. If you need an electronic component "quickly" and don't want to wait for the mail or drive to Frankfurt, if you're looking for a reliable power supply or expert advice, this is the place for you. I was always able to discuss my ideas and construction projects with a competent contact person in this shop, who was always there to help me with advice and support. When I left the shop, I always had the good feeling that I had gotten the right component. If something I needed wasn't in stock, I was openly informed and advised to order a suitable part or wait for the next delivery. You could hardly expect better service.

I really don't know why this shop only has 3 stars. It's probably just a case of frustration with Hermes being vented on an innocent shop that just wanted to earn some extra income and help people. But this is actually primarily an electronics shop, and he's someone who learned everything from scratch and taught me (a complete beginner, I've built PCs before, but that's adult Lego, not PCB assembly) how to solder using 3-4 practice kits for teenagers. He repaired washing machines himself using components in stock for a few cents (all of which are for exactly THIS washing machine, which is 10 years old). And if you're not confident, you can have him assemble circuit boards, PCBs, etc. directly. The owner is always friendly and competent and even gave me a multimeter to start with, although some of its functions weren't working (the functions weren't important in my case anyway). A clear recommendation!
